I've noticed that some brands are lighting up on the guidelines a bit to help with 3rd party vendors. For example working with Wyndham is so much easier than most brands for personal websites. They only care about having an external website have the correct logo and linking to their GDS system. Other brands who I will not mention require a ton of stuff to be in compliance. Many of the things they want you to do don't necessarily make a website look good either.
This is one aspect of picking a brand I never thought of. Of course pricing and volume of results from GDS systems are important but also having less headache should be also considered. Your thoughts?
